A. COOLING
Place complete PRESSURICE (Silicone ice pack and auto adhesive compression wrap) in freezer (coldest temperature: -18 °C / 0.4 °F) for at least 6 hours to allow optimal gel cooling.
B. APPLICATION
Take out of freezer and apply PRESSURICE to the area of treatment. Wrap firmly to provide desired compression to the injured joint or muscle. The recommended duration of application is 10 minutes, or in accordance with health professional’s recommendations, but under no circumstances longer than 10 minutes.
C. RECOOLING
Remove PRESSURICE from area of treatment, then fold to original position and place back in the freezer. The maximum use frequency is once every 2 hours. It is possible to order an interchangeable silicone ice pack insert if the frequency of ice therapy recommended by the health professional is every 2 hours.
PRESSURICE is intended for the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. Do not apply Silicone Gel Insert directly onto skin, always put in Ice Compression Wrap before applying on the treatment area.
Do not use ice therapy with the following conditions :
Raynaud’s disease or any other vascular or skin disorders
History of frostbite
Allergy or hypersensitivity to cold temperatures
Loss of superficial sensitivity
Directly on skin wound or infections
Ice Compression wrap may be hand washed. Silicone gel inserts can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
Ice therapy must be used with care and under the supervision of an adult. Excessive compression or prolonged use may cause frostbite and circulatory problems. If you experience any pain, skin discoloration, swelling, any unusual reaction or any changes in skin appearance, consult your health professional immediately.
Do not put any part of the device into the mouth.
Do not cut, puncture or pierce any part of the device.
Before using this device on children or pregnant women, consult a health professional.
Clean the device before use, do not use if dirty
Do not use if damaged. Check pack for leakage before use.
Do not lay or sit on the Silicone Gel Insert (this does not apply to the wrap).
Do not use to cool food or drinks.
Do not attempt to repair or fix the device. In case of damage, the device is to be disposed of appropriately.
This device is a cold pack. Do not attempt to use this device as a hot pack.
Do not heat the device using an oven, micro wave or any other heating tool.
Silicone Gel pack Inserts can be cleaned using mild soap and water. Never use any caustic or corrosive substances on the device as it might damage it.
This cold pack contains Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerol and Water.
If the cold pack is punctured or opened and the solution is accidently swallowed, drink plenty of water and contact a health professional immediately.
If solution contacts eyes, wash out thoroughly with water.
Wrap washing instructions: Do not use brush for cleaning. Use a lint roller to remove dust.
